We received a phone call from a veterinarian in Corpus Christi asking if we could rescue a young Siberian Lynx that had been through a really difficult time. He was confiscated from a private owner in south Texas by local authorities who then took him to ARK (Animal Rehabilitation Keep) with a severely broken leg and a missing eye.

Dr. Tim Tristan of ARK cared for Trooper for four months before bringing him to his new home at In-Sync. Trooper had two other names before he came to us, but neither name suited his personality.

When Dr. Tim told us everything Trooper had been through, he described him as “a real trooper,” so we decided Trooper was a perfect name for him.
Trooper was raised as a house cat. He has the most amazing personality, and people can’t help but to fall in love with him.

He’s very sociable and loves to greet and entertain the visitors. He doesn’t let his physical handicaps slow him down one bit. He loves to play with his toys, and whenever we clean his enclosure, he will chase the water and play until he’s exhausted. Trooper is a real sweetheart and a fun addition to In-Sync.
