Nyla is one of nine tigers that were donated to In-Sync in early 2022 by Terranova Enterprises. In 2019, the USDA permanently revoked Terranova’s exotic animal handling license and fined the owner for multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act. The surrender of tigers by Terranova is typical of some of In-Sync’s past rescues of exotic animals from the entertainment industry, which includes TV and film appearances, forced photo shoots, and circus performances.

Nyla came with her cage mate/”sister”/best friend, Blanca. The girls enjoy doing sister-like activities, including pushing each other’s buttons, aggravating the neighbor girls, and staring at the neighbor boys. Nyla is an active, smart, energetic, mischievous and friendly girl.

Nyla spends her days in stark contrast to her prior life. She enjoys running in her playground tearing through the grass and cooling off by the pool. Nyla adapted to her surroundings very quickly and strutted her personality from day one.

After a brief, very brief, adjustment period, this beautiful girl showed us her true passion; eating. She is very active at dinner time and has no qualms letting us know she is hungry and she wants more! Come for a feeding tour to truly experience this girl’s love of food. We are so glad that this beautiful girl is with us and can experience all the things a tiger should; love, care, and lots of space to run and play.
